Jerome Barty-Taylor is an experienced educational consultant and gifted educator.
He has helped students gain places at top UK and American boarding schools, including Winchester, Exeter and Andover, assisting with applications and successfully preparing students for standardised testing. He has also provided college and university admissions consultancy for Ivy League and Oxbridge, supporting families in Australia, UK, USA, the Middle East and Hong Kong.
As Managing Director of BartyED, his current projects involve providing customised academic extension and mentoring for gifted children and delivering academic, emotional support and counselling for students with learning differences (e.g. dysgraphia, dyslexia and ADHD.) He also plays an active role in a number of educational charities.
He took a Bachelor of Arts at the Australian National University where he later taught and worked in pastoral care before completing graduate work at the University of Oxford.
His research interests include developmental psychology, international relations theory and therapeutic management of behavioural issues in children. In his spare time he enjoys playing classical music, travel and cooking.
